The new paradigms of higher education in Ecuador are supported by new public policies since 2010, the year in which the Higher Education Law was published. The main guidelines are: relevance, coordination of undergraduate and graduate programs with the productive, social, economic, political, and cultural environment, continuous improvement, and quality—criteria that must be evident both in academia and in research. The culture of scientific publications demands that we promote investigative writing as a form of self-discovery from the earliest levels of university. "Let's Learn Together," "Let's Research and Publish Together," multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary, and transdisciplinary work between faculty and students is the new academic university paradigm we currently have. Mktdescubre aims to make the results of research work in different areas of knowledge available to the academic, scientific, and business communities throughout the country.
